Construction of the West Alabama Highway is creating employment opportunities for workers with a wide range of skills and experience. Representatives from the project will participate in a hiring event on Thursday, November 5, from 1–4 p.m. at the McDonald Hughes Center in Tuscaloosa.

Hosted in partnership with West AlabamaWorks!, the event will give job seekers an opportunity to learn about available construction jobs, workforce training programs, and ways to become part of this major infrastructure project.

The event will take place at the McDonald Hughes Center, located at 3101 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Tuscaloosa. Interested individuals are encouraged to attend and learn how they can help build a highway that will connect West Alabama communities for generations to come.

Those unable to attend can visit www.WestAlabamaHighway.com and click “Work With Us” to explore employment and training opportunities.
