An initial round of public meetings about the West Alabama Highway was held in December 2021 in Thomasville, Moundville, Linden and Greensboro. Residents were given the opportunity to learn more about the project, ask questions and express their opinions.
The WAH Project will create a four-lane, north-south highway
connecting communities in rural Alabama to the interstate system.
