Construction Updates

ALDOT and the Brasfield & Gorrie team are currently working together to advance and complete the design of the West Alabama Highway. Brasfield & Gorrie has partnered with HDR and eight other Alabama based design subconsultants in order to accelerate the design process and allow construction to begin.
The West Alabama Highway will create a four-lane divided highway connecting Mobile and Tuscaloosa. The project has been promised by the state’s political leaders for decades as a way to help promote economic development, job opportunities and connect West Alabama residents to essential services.
